Practical Scenarios

Track tasks

Create a shared list of tasks which can be deadlined, assigned to individuals and tracked. See the progress of each task, and be notified when changes occur or when you've been assigned something to do.

Group documents according to relevant classifications

Different people like to look at documents in different ways. The problem with traditional folders and hierarchies is that they lock documents into a fixed structure. Within your Intranet, structures can be built using metadata. By tagging documents with metadata you can group, sort and filter documents in different ways for different people, while using the same library. In the example below, each document is classified according to the client it relates to, as well as the department. Narrowing down what's seen to just a specific client is as simple as applying a filter or choosing another view.

Share calendars, synchronised with Outlook

You know how you've always struggled to maintain a booking calendar for those everyone-wants-a-timespot client meeting rooms? With your Intranet, you can create a central calendar for each meeting room, synchronised with your Outlook® mailbox. To make a booking, you simply look at the meeting room availability side-to-side with your own calendar, and create a new meeting!

Let's get started!
